Conducted under the umbrella of the OECD South East Europe Regional Programme, this second series of Academic Trainings is part of the ongoing project on Fair Market Conditions for Competitiveness in the Adriatic Region. In the past three years the project has gathered government officials, business representatives, civil society and academia to form a Collective Action as an important tool in advancing integrity and achieving a level playing field for all actors in the market. In this context, eight universities from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia have embarked in an ambitious Collaborative Action approach to foster academic curriculum by learning and applying OECD and international standards.
The 2nd Academic Roundtable will address professors and students from the University of Sarajevo, University of Banja Luka, University of Tuzla, University of Zagreb, University of Rijeka, University of Split, University of Belgrade, University of Kragujevac, and will focus on the improvement of the existing academic curriculum in the areas of Anti-Corruption Policies as well as the establishment of university Anti-Corruption Legal Clinics. It will also focus on raising awareness among students on corruption-related issues and avenues for reform in support of a level playing field.
